Superdrug Haul

I have been buying a lot of make up lately, mainly due to me doing some beauty swaps soon and i just can't help picking myself some bits up too. Here's what i picked up in Superdrug.

I have been wanting to pick one of these up for a while now. Having read reviews of it being almost an exact dupe for Urban Decay's Naked 3 palette i knew i had to try it. Naked 3 is the only palette of the collection i don't own as i wasn't too sure about the colours, so this is the perfect way for me to give the shades a try. So far i really like it. The shades are beautiful and as long as a primer is used they stay on the lid beautifully. They also blend well.

I was looking for a good crease colour when i picked this up. Have used it a couple of times since i bought it and i really like it. I haven't tried yet but i would also say it could be used as a contour colour since it has an ashy tone to it. Nicely pigmented and not much fallout. Will be picking up some more of these.

It's safe to say i have well and truly fallen in love with this highlighter! I have used it pretty much every day since i got it. The photo really doesn't do it justice at all. It's a beautiful golden highlighter and i have been using this on the top of my cheek bones and also down the center of my nose and on the cupids bow. It is super pigmented so you only need a tiny bit. Don't make the same mistake i did the first time i used it and end up looking like a glitter ball!!

Just another brown eyeshadow although this one is a lot more warm toned than the one i purchased from Make Up Revolution. Good pigmentation and not too much fall out but i would still recommend a primer if you want it to last all day.

This was the exact colour i had been searching for. A perfect peachy pink. It applies well and doesn't dry the lips out at all. I also found it lasted quite well and didn't feel the need to constantly reapply. Lasted even longer when worn with a lip liner.

I'm not fussy at all when it comes to wipes and these are just the first ones i picked up. I use wipes to take my make up off before properly cleansing my face. It's the first time i have used these wipes and so far i like them.

I wish i had swatched this but i am going to do a seperate review of them. This pigment is stunning! It's a gorgeous pinky colour with gold running through. Have wore this a lot already. Beautiful.

I was quite disappointed with this lipstick as i thought it was going to be a lot brighter than it is. As you can see from the swatch the colour is barely there. I do like it however and will get a lot of use out of it especially if i am going for a natural look.

I love this colour. I am hugely into wearing nudes at the moment. This is very similar to my favourite Maybelline colour sensational in Tantalizing Taupe. For £1.00 the lipstick are also good quality. I would highly recommend trying one if you haven't already.

This is the first time i have tried on of the MUA Matte lipsticks. I didn't really expect to much from it as a lot of other drugstore matte lipstick i have tried have just been too drying for me to use. Although this is slightly drying it isn't too bad and with a lipbalm underneath it is fine. It also lasts well too.

Hope you enjoyed this haul. What have you been buying lately?

TOP 5 DRUGSTORE - Bright Lipsticks

The third installment of my Top 5 drugstore series is here. This time its all about the bright lipsticks.

L-R Make Up Revolution Scandalous Lipstick in Vice, MUA Lipstick In Coral Flush, Rimmel Colour Rush Balm In I Want Candy, MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer In Aflush, Avon Ultra Colour Lipstick In Hibiscus

Make Up Revoloution Scandalous Lipstick In Vice £1.00

When it comes to brights i'm all about the oranges, corals and pinks as you will see in this post. This lipstick is a true orange shade. Make Up Revolution so some amazing bright lipsticks with every colour you could imagine. For £1.00 each you really can't go wrong. You can find this lipstick here.

MUA Lipstick In Coral Flush £1.00

Probably one of my favourite colours in this post. Like Make Up Revoloution, MUA do some amazing lipsticks for only £1.00. This is the perfect spring/summer colour and it will most probably be one of my most worn. You can find this lipstick here.

Rimmel Colour Rush Balm In I Want Candy £5.99

I mention in my previous pink lips post that i love these Rimmel Colour Rush Balms. These are definitely my favourite drugstore lip pencils. They are super creamy but also last a really long time. I have almost every colour in these and they are one of my go to products both day and night. You can find this product here.

MUA Luxe In A Flush £3.00

Amazing quality for the price. I'm a big fan of lip lacquers and these ones tick all the right boxes for me. This was the first one i owned and i will certainly be investing in some more colours. They apply well and last well too. This product can be found here.

Avon Ultra Colour Matte Lipstick In Hibiscus £7.50

Similar to Lava Love that i featured in my Reds post, I don't find that this is a true matte. It does have a slight sheen to it. As mentioned in previous posts, i love these lipsticks and have a number of them. This product can be found here.

Poundland Makeup Haul and First Impressions

I had noticed the make up section now in Poundland the last few times i had visited but had never had chance for a proper look as it was always a flying visit to pick up something specific. So when i had the chance the other day i decided to go in and purchase some of the make up and give it a try. I really wasn't expecting too much but with brands like MUA and Make Up Revolution selling products for as low as £1.00 at the same time i had quite high hopes.
A lot of the products only had limited colours available or were sold out all together. I picked up three eyeshadows, one blush, one eyeliner and a foundation. The brand is called Make Up Gallery.

Gorgeous Flawless Long Lasting Foundation

I didn't have very high hopes for this foundation. I am super picky when it comes to foundation. I will start off by saying it is super light coverage it is more like a tinted moisturiser in coverage really. It looks quite thick when you squeeze it out the tube but when you apply it applies really thin. The first day i wore this i tried to apply it with a brush and it was a disaster! It was streaky and looked awful. I don't know if this is because of the formula or because my brush needed cleaned. I then tried applying with my fingers and it was so much better. It does oxidize slightly after applied so that is something to watch out for. Overall i like it and can see me using this in the summer when i want a lighter coverage.

All About The Pout Colour Moisture Lipstick in 18 Black Cherry

I didn't really expect much from this lipstick, especially being a dark colour but i actually quite like it. It wasn't too patchy and felt really moisturising on the lips. I would definitely use a lip liner with this on though as i feel it would slip off as soon as you put something near your lips. It will be interesting to see when i pick another one up how the quality compares as they could be hit and miss.

Khol Me Beautiful in 3 Navy

I love the colour of this although the actual pencil is quite hard and could hurt the eyes if you weren't being careful. I picked up the navy as i already have loads of other colours but didn't have one like this.

Feeling Blush Blusher in 3 Spice

I love the colour of this blush! It isn't very pigmented but it is perfect if you just want a nice wash of colour. These would be perfect for anyone just starting out with make up as it would be difficult to apply too much. I will be picking up some more colours of the blush next time i head to Poundland.

Colour Story Eyeshadow in 14 Shadow Grey, 19 Fern Green and  1 White Frost

My favourite items that i got, eyeshadows. I picked up three colours. The white is an amazing shimmery white which would be perfect for highlighting the inner corner of the eye, this colour is also super pigmented. The other two colours were not as pigmented and needed a primer under them to make them stand out. I'm definitely interested in picking some more colours up.

White frost without primer, Fern Green and Shadow Grey without primer on left, with primer on the right.

Overall i am super impressed with the quality of the products. For £1.00 you can't go wrong.

Have you tried anything from Poundland? Anything you would recommend?

Nail Of The Week 4

Time for nail of the week number 4. This week i went for something quite basic. My favourite gel polish shade in Cloudy Sky with a matte topcoat then Silk Dust on the ring finger.

I could have done with an extra coat of the grey but i didn't have enough time so just had to stick to two coats. Hopefully ordering some new colours this week, so watch out for them making an appearance.

OZ Naturals Skin Care Review

I was lucky enough to be sent three products from OZ Naturals to review. I was super excited to give them a try as i had seen nothing but good reviews about them. I have never really bothered with a serum before and i am awful at remembering to put eye cream on. I have been using these products for over a month now so feel like i can give you some good feedback.

My skin has never been awful but it is not perfect either. I am lucky that i have never really got spots, except the odd one now and again, i am also starting to get a few fine lines on my forehead too. I do however get quite dry skin especially in the winter. I also have quite dark circles under my eyes as my two boys like to get up a lot earlier than Mammy likes!! I also suffer from puffiness too, mainly caused by my hay fever that i now suffer with pretty much year round.

OZ Naturals uses sustainable, biodegradable products that aren't tested on animals in a facility powered 100% by wind and solar energy.

Super Youth Eye Gel

This is not just for your eyes but can also be smoothed around your forehead and cheeks. It contains plant stem cells and vitamin E and is an all round treatment for wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles. I have definitely noticed a reduction in the puffiness and dark circles round my eyes. I am now using this daily and i am really enjoying it. It is a gel like formula and it feels really cooling on the eye.

20% Vitamin C Serum

This one is labeled as an anti aging serum. This is supposed to help the skin appear brighter and younger, boost collagen and hydrate and moisturise skin. I cant say i have noticed anything major while using this although some people claim to see results from the first use. I will keep on using it and let you all know if i see a difference.

5% Hyaluronic Acid Serum

This serum says it is moisturising, and it definitely was. Since using this serum i have not had any dry patches appear anywhere, which i am usually prone too, especially in the cold weather and coming in to spring where the weather can be so up and down. This has been added to my daily skincare routine and i really like it and would recommend it for anyone with dry skin.
All these products can be purchased on Amazon, i have left all the links down below.

Have you tried OZ Naturals skincare before? What did you make of it?
