Hi guys, hope everyone is well.
Not been any posts from me in a long time, sorry. As you all know i have been on two holidays lately and had very poor internet both times. I would much rather be sunbathing by the pool than sat in reception to use the WiFi!! I actually wore my bikini on holiday!! This is a massive thing for me and i am feeling super super proud of myself. No weight loss lately but i'm getting back to it next week.

Before going on holiday i was suffering from major blogger block. I thought a holiday may give me some ideas but i am still really struggling. What do you guys want to see? Any ideas for me? I am going out on Saturday night so may do a OOTD/FOTD type of post, other than that i am stuck, so i will say sorry now if there is no more posts for a while :(

I am recently just getting into money saving. With Christmas just around the corner and two boys and a big family to buy for its a must. I don't know if money saving is something you would be interested in reading posts about?

Let me know what you all have been up to lately.

Thanks for reading

Guest Post - Autumn Trends By Jessica

  From the VMA's to the Emmy's to New York Fashion Week, this fall has brought with it a plethora of new make-up and hair style trends, with previous ones we've loved from over the years also making a come back, to truly make this autumn bloom. The red carpets and the runways are great places to get some much needed inspiration as the seasons change and old trends fade into the background. What's great about this season is the fact that we haven't lost the classic, chic trends that have lasted decades and are still stunning every time, plus we've gained some gorgeous new styles to take to the streets. We may not be red carpet regulars, but why not impress those around us at work, school or when we're out and about, and most importantly feel amazing about how we look! Becky has kindly allowed me to share with you the most prominent beauty trends this Autumn, so let's get started;

Smokey Eyes
This seasons red Carpets and runways are littered with smokey eyed gals, and for a good reason. It's stunning! Partnered with a neutral toned foundation and a light pink or nude lip, this look will make you stand from the crowd.

Classic Red Lips
This legendary look is a must-have for any make-up repertoire. It's bold, confident and chic, plus it's everywhere right now. But why wait for it to come into fashion, it's an everlasting look that makes an impact any time of year.

Pure and Neutral
A very paired down, simple make-up palette has been a common feature of the runway shows this season, with a stunning innocence and simplicity. It accentuates your best features and is breathtakingly beautiful.

Sweet Berry pout
Berry blossomed lips are a cute, simple addition to an almost neutral toned look, to add a summery glow. Its quick, easy and utterly adorable.

Nude lips
The infamous nude lip is back in full swing this season and has been used countless times on the runways and red Carpets to emphasise the eyes, or add a strong, passionate hue to the lips that is just gorgeous.

Metallic eyes
A bold yet elegant look right now is not complete without a metallic eye shadow. This season it's all about being futuristic, flirty and fun.

Fluttery Flicks
Giving the eye liner a flick or two takes any look to another level, adding an edgy, unique element to a bold eye.

Tasseled Middle parting
Seen all over the Fashion world right now, this seemingly simplistic style adds an effortless chic twist to your look.

Plaits galore
Autumn always seems to invite plaits back into trend and who blames you for joining in? It's neat, intricate and stylish; a versatile hairstyle to use for all occasions.

Choppy Bobs
Another simple, cute look in the form of a short bob has been very popular for fall this year. It's out of the way, fresh and easy to style.

Twist and Pin Up Buns
Buns can be neat, tight and formal, or messy, relaxed and comfortable. Autumn seems to be all about getting you're hair out the way in the nicest form possible, for the chic, serious looks and the nonchalant and effortless.

A prominent theme for Autumn is a love of the chic yet relaxed approach to styling and it couldn't look better. I hope this post has inspired you to change up your make-up and hair styling for the new season or even get hair cut (gasp!). I have certainly been inspired by the beautiful berry lips, red lips and smokey eyes this season; what are your favourite fall beauty trends?

My New Favorite Mascara

I have mentioned my mascara related issues a number of times in the past so I won't bore you with them again. I have found a mascara that is amazing for me.
I have always been a fan of Avon Mascaras and they were some of the first mascaras I tried when my mam was a rep for them during my early teens.
Avon have just launched their new Big and Daring Volume Mascara. I have a friend who is a rep and when she handed me a brochure and I seen that there was a new mascara I had to try it.
I'm pleased I did as it is one of the best mascaras I have used in a while. It has a lovely thick brush which I love and it is slightly curved too. It is a bristle brush which I'm not usually a fan of, I prefer the plastic ones normally. The formula is great too. Not too thick and not too thin.
It has made my eyelashes look amazing. It will definitely be my go to mascara from now on.
After (one coat of mascara, no curlers used)

Bella And Bear Eye And Mighty Eyelash Curler

Eyelash curlers are a must for me, my eyelashes are incredibly short and they are also poker straight. I have tried lots of different eyelash curlers and have always thought they were pretty much all the same.
The Bella and Bear Eye And Mighty Eyelash Curler* is exactly what I have been looking for. It comes in a gorgeous box which includes the curlers and also a voucher for a discount off your next purchase.

The handles are non slip and are super comfy to use, they are spring loaded which I prefer as I feel I have more control and I haven't had them pull like some other curlers have. My favorite part of the design though is the fact that the curler is wide enough to get all your lashes, a problem I have always struggled with.

These have quickly replaced my old eyelash curlers and I have already recommended them to a people. These are currently on sale for £12.99 and can be purchased here.

The Make Up Tag

I seen on Twitter that Linda over at Boston Beauty Buzz had created The Make Up Tag and tagged all beauty bloggers, so i thought it would be fun to do.

What foundation do you use?
I have currently fallen back in love with MAC Studio Fix Fluid in shade NC15, since i am wanting slightly more coverage since the weather has got colder here in the UK my skin has taken a turn for the worse. Before this i was using Rimmel Match Perfection.

How about concealer?
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer or Rimmel Wake Me Up. I also love MAC Pro longwear concealer but the first two are my most used.

What do you think of fake eyelashes?
I love lashes. I don't wear them during the day but for a night out they are a must. My favorites are the Eyelure Exaggerate Lashes- NO 140.

What brand of mascara do you use?
I use a few different mascaras infact it is one of the products that can change from day to day. I am always trying new mascaras trying to make my lashes look longer and fuller. My favorites are Benefits they're Real Mascara and Soap And Glory Thick And Fast Mascara.

Sephora or MAC?
Sephora even though we don't have them here in the UK although we can now shop online. Sephora sells a range of brands whereas MAC is just one brand. I would rather have the choice of lots of different brands and products than just the one brand.

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Brushes and my Beauty Blender. Most of my brushes are by Real Techniques.

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
Not all the time but if i know i want my make up to last i will use something.

What is your favorite eye shadow (color or shade)?
I have lots of different colours and shades i love. I love a dark smoky eye so blacks, silvers and greys are always a hit with me.

What do you think of pigment eye shadows?
I love them but they are just too messy for me to work with.

What is your favorite lipstick?
My favorite lipstick at the moment is MAC Snob. Its just such a wearable colour.

How about lipgloss?
I don't really wear lipgloss at all.

What is your favorite blush to use?
Nars Orgasm

Do you like drugstore makeup?
I love drugstore make up. You can get some amazing things from the drugstore.

Name a makeup crime that you hate?
Foundation Line!!

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick, eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
I love both, depends on my mood, occasion and outfit.

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item, what would you use?
Mascara. I look like i have no eyelashes if i don't wear it!

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yes. I do often. Running round after my two boys gives me very little time to get myself sorted!

In your opinion, what is the BEST makeup line?
For drugstore i would have to say Rimmel and for high end MAC or Nars

What do you think of Makeup??
I love make up.

I would like to tag any of you that have a blog to do this tag. Leave me a link down below or tweet me and i will check them out.

Glossybox August 2014

Everyone knows how hit and miss Glossybox can be, this month is definitely a hit! This months box was for Glossybox's 3rd anniversary. This is my favorite Glossybox i have received so far, it's as if this box was made for me!

First up is one of my all time favourite products, Phillip Kingsley Elasticizer. I use this product often so it was nice to see this included as I run out a while ago and haven't got round to getting any more yet. I usually put this on when I get up in the morning if I know im going in the shower and it usually gets left on for a couple of hours. I just wet my hands and run them through my hair to dampen it before applying the product through my hair. It leaves hair feeling amazing and so much stronger from first use. It is a must for me, as it helps to prevent split ends and puts moisture back into your hair. It is expensive with prices starting at £15.00 for 75ml, but it is so worth it!

I love a good highlighter and the Kryolan Highlighter in Cashmere is stunning! This has been placed in lovely Glossybox packaging but is just Kryolan Illusion. It is a cream highlighter and gives the most amazing glow when applied to the skin. This is a full size product worth £12.95.

Figs & Rouge Mini Hand Cream is probably the only product I am not all that pleased about. As I have mentioned previously I need to be careful what products i use on my hands, although this hasn't caused me any issues it is likely to just get put in my sample draw as I have many other hand creams to use. I may take it on holiday with me though due to it's compact size. This is a 20ml sample and for a full size 80ml product it is £6.95.

Yves Rocher Nail Polish is the birthday bonus item included in every box this month. This is a full size product but at just 3ml is the smallest nail polish I have ever seen. Cute! It is a gorgeous baby pink colour which I am pleased about as I don't actually think I have any light pinks as mine are all brights. Will be giving this a try next time I paint my nails. This product is worth £3.60.

Some people may not be happy with perfume samples but it is something I enjoy getting, especially with a couple of holidays coming up I'm looking for a few more perfumes to add to my collection. The fragrance included is Lalique L'Amour. It is a soft sensual fragrance which has notes of rosebuds, fresh bergamot, white floral and musk. I love the smell of this perfume but at £67.00 for 50ml it's an expensive one.

The last product is probably my second favourite after the Elasticizer and it is Essence Longlasting Lipstick. I got the shade Natural Beauty and it is my perfect colour. I love the shade of this as it is my go to everyday shade. It is definitely a my lips but better kind of colour. It was nice to apply and didn't feel drying in the lips. This was a full size lipstick worth £2.29.

Hugely impressed with this months box. Did you receive anything different to what I got? What did you make of this months box?
